The Company is made up of the following three levels:
DAC PREP
This division is a continuing progression in the competitive dance experience, incorporating training in all disciplines. Dancers will be required to meet weekly minimum class requirements at Dance Arts Center, attend Revival Dance Intensive, two regional dance conventions, 3 regional dance competitions, community dance events, participation in Company Recital Finale choreography, and Summer Nationals. This is a one year contract.
DAC CORE
This division is the full competitive level, maximizing the dancers commitment and technical training both in the studio and on the stage. Dancers will be required to meet weekly minimum class requirements at Dance Arts Center, attend Revival Dance Intensive, three required regional dance conventions (several others offered as optional events), four regional dance competitions, community dance events, participation in Company Recital Finale choreography, and Summer Nationals. This is a one year contract.
DAC ELITE
This is Dance Arts Center's Pre-Professional division which is hand selected by DAC Company staff. These dancers have been chosen to represent DAC Company at the highest level, and at the most prestigious events. DAC Elite dancers will be committed to their weekly training hours, technical excellence, and teamwork. Dancers will be required to meet weekly minimum class requirements at Dance Arts Center (DAC Elite dancers are placed in invitation only classes), attend Revival Dance Intensive, four required regional dance conventions (others offered as optional events), four regional dance competitions, community dance events, participation in Company Recital Finale choreography, and Summer Nationals. This is a one year contract.
